Lister is the Project 22 Journal. Published 3 times a year and available to all members free of charge. Basic membership is also free so please join up to gain full access.
Our Class 22 Society Magazine ‘Lister’ carries a name derived from D6320 which was apparently unofficially named at the Lister diesel engine company in Dursley, Gloucestershire by staff members fixing company packaging to the locomotive’s side.
The route to a completed Class 22 replica is a long one, relying on many people in different roles and with different skills. We need more than engineers and money, so ‘Lister’ is aimed at the enthusiast – the people we are building this locomotive for – the people who are going to be instrumental in the success of the project. This is for you; and in return we would like you to support us by investing in the Project.
‘Lister’ will be published periodically; and through it we will do our best to keep you informed as to the activities and progress of the project. We hope you will also be interested by the stories, facts and information we provide on the “Baby Warship” British Rail’s Class 22.
We welcome feedback and your stories and pictures as well as your views on this venture. Your comments will be selected and printed here – warts and all.
