Become an Investor

The only Membership class for Project 22 is that ofInvestor. At this stage of the project we are seeking those interested in seeing a Class 22 built to offer their support by investing in our scheme. We’re asking for monthly donations to be made by a Standing Order from a bank of £5, £10, £20, £50 and so forth, or as much as you can afford to be invested.

The investment is made in the form of a monthly payment of which 90% is set aside in a trust account and used for the project build and 10% is maintained to help fund marketing Project 22. If for any reason the project does not progress, 90% of any funds remaining will be returned to the investor, or with consent offered to another Diesel Hydraulic group in the UK.

The investment is made as the build progresses, and all donations converted to shares in the finished locomotive. The shares will be non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash, but you will own a part of a Class 22 and that ownership will bring privileges now and in the future.

By donating, you become a voting member of the society, and you will be entered into a six monthly draw for unique prizes. For example December’s draw is a Main Line Cab Ride with GB Railfreight.
